Immediate lift and long-term collagen renewal — from a single, next-generation hybrid injectable.
We are pleased to offer HArmonyCa™, an advanced hybrid dermal filler from Allergan Aesthetics (an AbbVie company) — now available at our clinic.
HArmonyCa is a first-in-class hybrid injectable that does two things at once: it restores volume and lift immediately, and it stimulates your skin's own collagen production over the following weeks and months. Unlike a conventional filler, which adds volume alone, HArmonyCa works both on the surface and deep within the dermis to rebuild structure and improve skin quality — making it an ideal choice for patients who want a natural, refreshed result that continues to develop over time.
This is a treatment for skin that has begun to lose firmness, elasticity and definition — softening jowls, restoring cheek projection, and firming the mid-to-lower face without surgery.
Most dermal fillers available today are made purely from hyaluronic acid, which focuses on filling lines and adding volume. HArmonyCa goes a step further by combining hyaluronic acid (HA) with calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) — a well-established collagen biostimulator — in a single, premixed syringe.
The result is a dual-action treatment: the HA delivers instant, visible lift and hydration, while the CaHA microspheres activate the skin's fibroblasts to produce fresh collagen. This means you see an immediate improvement, and then a second, gradual improvement in skin firmness and elasticity as new collagen forms.
Because roughly 70% of the syringe volume is hyaluronic acid, the HA component can, if ever needed, be dissolved with hyaluronidase — offering a level of reassurance not available with biostimulators alone.
HArmonyCa is a premixed hybrid filler containing cross-linked hyaluronic acid (20 mg/mL) and calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres (55.7%), with 0.3% lidocaine for comfort, in a ready-to-use syringe. It is injected into the deep dermal and subdermal layers, most commonly across the cheeks, jawline and mid-to-lower face.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) acts immediately. It draws in and binds moisture, restoring volume and delivering an instant lifting and smoothing effect in areas that have lost fullness through ageing.
Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA) works over time. The smooth microspheres activate fibroblasts — the cells responsible for collagen production — prompting the skin to synthesise new collagen. This rebuilds the skin's underlying scaffold, improving firmness, elasticity and lift in the weeks and months following treatment.
Together, they deliver both an instant result and a progressive, regenerative improvement — a combination a single-ingredient filler cannot achieve.
HArmonyCa is administered as an in-clinic treatment by one of our trained practitioners [CONFIRM: needle and/or cannula]. A local anaesthetic (lidocaine) is already contained within the product to keep the procedure comfortable, and a topical numbing cream can also be applied beforehand if preferred.
The treatment is quick, and most patients return to their normal routine soon afterwards. Some mild swelling, redness or tenderness at the injection sites is possible and generally settles within a few days. You'll notice an immediate lift from the HA, followed by a gradual, continued improvement in skin firmness as collagen develops over the next 1–2 months.
HArmonyCa is well suited to patients who have begun to notice a loss of firmness, elasticity and definition in the face — typically from the mid-30s onwards. It is particularly suitable for patients who:
A consultation with our practitioner prior to treatment will allow us to assess your individual needs and confirm whether HArmonyCa is the right option for you.
Is HArmonyCa just a filler?
Not exactly. HArmonyCa is a hybrid filler. It contains hyaluronic acid, which acts like a traditional filler to restore volume immediately, combined with calcium hydroxyapatite, which stimulates your skin to produce its own new collagen over time. It works on two levels — instant lift and long-term skin quality.
How long do the results last?
Results typically last around 12 months. Because the calcium hydroxyapatite continues to stimulate collagen for months after treatment, the outcome is maintained across this period. Individual longevity varies with metabolism, skin condition and lifestyle. [CONFIRM clinic's preferred wording on duration]
Is there any downtime?
Most patients experience little downtime. Some mild swelling, redness or tenderness at the injection sites is possible and usually settles within a few days.
Is it painful?
The treatment is well tolerated. HArmonyCa contains lidocaine to reduce discomfort during injection, and a topical numbing cream can also be applied beforehand if preferred.
Can HArmonyCa be combined with other treatments?
Yes. HArmonyCa works well as part of a wider treatment plan. Your practitioner will discuss the best approach for you at your consultation.
Is it reversible?
The hyaluronic acid component — which makes up the majority of the syringe — can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if required. The collagen-stimulating effect of the calcium hydroxyapatite is not reversible, as it works by encouraging your own natural collagen.
Individual results will vary. We recommend booking a consultation with our practitioner to discuss your individual needs and goals.
